The Iberian pig and the pasture: juicy secrets that nobody has whispered to you!

In the magical trails of the “Ternezuelo” farm, we discover how tradition and flavor intertwine to create a delicious and unforgettable memory in those who visit us.

Did you know that an oak tree can release an incredible 20 kilos of acorns into the air each year? Or that an Iberian pig feasts on about 8 kilos of acorns a day? (Yes, you read that right, approximately 1,350 acorns!) And that’s not all! It also feasts on about 2-3 kilos of fresh grass. Pigs know how to live well!

For the pig to acquire its plump appearance, it needs to eat 12 to 15 kilos of acorns, only to gain 1 kilo! And during his 90 days of “montanera” in the field, he can gain around 80 kilos! He’s not just any pig, he’s a real star grower!

But don’t worry. We’ve got all the juicy details you need to know!

In our visits, you will be immersed in the pig wisdom and you will taste the exquisite Iberian meats (sausages and juicy meats) in the heart of the pasture. Ready? Join us!”
