Cáceres has been the setting for the filming of numerous successful movies and television series. This city offers an incomparable backdrop that allows historical recreations of medieval and Renaissance cities of great realism and veracity, without the need for large sets. Cáceres transports you to other times in history and numerous film producers and directors have taken advantage of this to make this Old City a natural film set.
During the guided tour you will visit the spaces that have been used for the filming of national (Inés del Alma Mía, Hernán el hombre, Isabel…) and international series (Game of Thrones, Still Star Crossed); as well as major film productions (1492: The Conquest of Paradise, The Black Tulip, The Lords of Steel, La Celestina…).
In the squares of Santa María, San Jorge, San Mateo, from the Adarve de la Muralla and in many other locations, we will show you the audiovisual pieces of the series and films shot, as well as images of the making off of the different filming teams. All this through an itinerary through the Monumental City in which we will tell you stories of nobility and conquest carved in stone.
