Handlemen, cutters, slashers, gatherers and muleteers work during the summer with their axes, axes, levers, ladders and tractors. It sounds like a tongue twister, but this is how cork harvesting is done in the cork oak forests of Monfragüe. Tradition and Sustainability!

Dexterity, experience, endurance and patience are some of the arts of these crews that we invite you to join them in their cork activity during a morning in the pastures of the Monfragüe Biosphere Reserve.
