{"id":10937,"date":"2023-05-23T14:02:08","date_gmt":"2023-05-23T14:02:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/verdehesa.com\/?p=10937"},"modified":"2023-07-08T17:24:39","modified_gmt":"2023-07-08T17:24:39","slug":"meet-extremadura-professional-conferences-to-learn-about-extremaduras-tourism-product","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/verdehesa.com\/en\/2023\/05\/23\/meet-extremadura-professional-conferences-to-learn-about-extremaduras-tourism-product\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet Extremadura: Professional conferences to learn about Extremadura&#8217;s tourism product."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We attended the 15th edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/meetextremadura.com\/\">&#8216;Meet Extremadura&#8217;<\/a> in Madrid.The event brought together more than 50 companies from Extremadura with a hundred travel agents and national tour operators with two main objectives: to support the marketing of the destination in the national and international market and to expand the offer of Extremadura&#8217;s tourism product in the main distribution channels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And is that since its first edition, in 2016, &#8216;Meet Extremadura&#8217; is aimed exclusively at professionals and aims to generate business opportunities for all participants.Since then it has been organized in several cities in Spain and Europe, such as Barcelona, Seville, Malaga, Bilbao, Paris, Frankfurt, Brussels, Utrecht and Lisbon, as well as in several locations in Extremadura.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event we attended was held at the Nubel Restaurant, in the Reina Sof\u00eda Museum, and included a recruitment exchange; a destination presentation, where the reasons to visit, live and invest in the region were presented, and a dynamic activity with the illusionist Jorge Luengo from C\u00e1ceres.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It should be noted that among the more than 50 companies from Extremadura, we have been represented activity companies, hotels, rural accommodation, tourist apartments, incoming agencies, spas and industry associations.
